GELCO fan regulator also known as motor speed controller eliminates the limitations of fixed motor speed selection by conventional resistance type regulator. It saves power as it is completely electronic. All regulators arefitted with snubber network.

Solid State Fan Regulators
Solid state fan regulators/ motor controllers eliminate the limitations of fixed fan/motor speed using tapped resistance/reactor. A solid state circuit is used to achieve continuous speed variation and allows the user to optimize air flow velocity.
All GELCO regulators are provided with ON-OFF switch and snubber network. An inductor capacitor network provides electrical noise suppression. The low voltage setting is kept 90 +/- 5V for 240V AC.
Standard tapped resistance fan regulators dissipate power in resistance & allows less power for fan to reduce speed of fan. For lower speed of fan power is wasted in resistance.
GELCO solid state fan regulators chops AC supply Power in both positive and negative half cycle. Power dissipation in solid state switching device is very less. Poser saving will be about 50% at low speed to 0% at maximum speed.
GELCO solid state fan regulators are used for fan, dimming light, table lamp, portable fan, exhaust fan. They can be also used in hand drills, water coolers & small universal motors, tension motors, headers etc.
Model are available with 400W, 600W, 1000W, 1500W and 2000W rating.
