GELCO offers highly precision servo controlled voltage stabilizer. The output voltage is maintained at 230 +/- 1% or 415 +/- 1%. The rate of correction is fairly fast. The unit is available in single phase as well as three phase model with balanced load or unbalanced load. A voltmeter is provided to observe the input as well as output voltage. Provision for manual operation is also provided. Solid state control of servo motor. There is no radio interferance or wave form distoration. Insensitive to load power factor. Additional facilites like overload trip facility, auto / visual alaram for over / under voltage, digital voltameter, ameter can be provided. It is available upto 15 kva in single phase and upto 100 kva in three phase. It is tested at - e.r.d.a., baroda.

Principle |

Basic electrical diagram of servostabilizer is shown in fig. It consists variable auto transformer, Buck-boost transformer and servomotor with electronics circuit. A difference of set voltage and output voltage is sensed by electronic circuit. Depending on polarity of difference it operates a servomotor either in forward or reverse direction. |

| Servomotor moves wiper of autotransformer to change primary voltage of buck-boost transformer. Secondary of buck-boost transformer is in series with mains supply hence it will either increase or decrease voltage in output depending on primary voltage of transformer. |

| SINGLE PHASE |
It is simple single phase voltage controller & used in single phase application. |
| THREE PHASE (BALANCED) |
It is used where three phase balanced supply is available. A single three phase auto transformer will control output voltage in three phase. If any unbalance of voltage appears in input, it will reflect in output. |
| THREE PHASE (UNBALANCED) |
It gives perfectly balance three phase output even though input is unbalanced. Three separate autotransformer and control is provided. It is used where unbalance supply is available. |
